Saand Inc. Names Peter Garvey CEO

Saand Inc., a Toronto-based glass fabricator and distributor, announced the appointment of Peter Garvey as its new CEO. Currently president of Horizon Plastics International, Garvey will assume his new role September 15, when he’ll have responsibility and oversight for the organizational activities of the company.

“Peter was selected because of his achievements to date in corporate growth and expansion, as well as technical expertise in sales and manufacturing,” says Mark Franklin, president of Saand. “We believe he has the organizational and leadership skills required to lead a large, growing and dynamic organization. Peter shares our commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.”

Garvey brings 25 years of progressive leadership experience in sales, operations and finance in the consumer packaged goods, paper products, plastics and packaging industries. Prior to joining Horizon Plastics, he was a vice president at Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd.
