Horn acquires Eurox

Horn Glass Industries has added a new subsidiary to its profile – the Eurox Sauerstoff Mess-Systeme GmbH.

Horn has taken over the know-how of the former company Eurox as well as its equipment.

Eurox supplies specially engineered oxygen measuring probe heads for high-temperature application in industrial furnaces, e.g. glass melting plants.

Moreover, the company offers analytical equipment based on heated oxygen probe heads for gas/air mixes (e.g. forehearth heating) and protective gases (nitrogen and hydrogen in the float tin bath).

Therefore, Eurox completes the range offered by Horn: Apart from the furnace and the control system, Horn now also offers the corresponding probe heads for flue gas analysis.
