AGC and Onyx Solar Partner to Promote Architectural, Photovoltaic Glass in North America

AGC Glass Co. North America and Onyx Solar, designer and manufacturer of photovoltaic building materials, entered into a cooperation agreement to promote architectural, photovoltaic glass within North America.

AGC and its parent company, Asahi Glass Co. Ltd., are focusing on sustainable growth based on the incorporation of new, differentiated technologies, environmental friendly products and processes, and the development of fast growing regions, among others, as a part of the global AGC initiative Aspirations for 2020. This new collaboration in North America will contribute to these goals by promoting smart glazing capable to generate free electricity from the consumption point, the building.

Onyx Solar's goal towards the development of a professional network of distributors and partners worldwide brings North America a new opportunity to further educate the community and to ease the adoption of this glazing within any building or construction project, thanks to this strategic partnership with AGC.
