Manufacture of flat glass in July 2014 increased by 3%

The Russian market of sheet glass in July 2014 showed an increase of 3% in July 2013 to 21.6 million. M2. Imports of flat glass in Russia in July 2014 increased by 57% to 2.2 million. M2. Export of flat glass from Russia increased by 52% to 3.5 million. M2. Exclusively exported float glass (over 98%).

Average price producers of flat thermally polished glass in Russia in July 2014 decreased by 9% compared to July 2013 from 121 to 110 rub. / m2 (excluding VAT and delivery).

By the end of July 2014 issue of float glass has decreased by 5% to 14.1 million. M2. This segment of sheet glass occupies the largest share in the total production of all kinds of flat glass - 65%. Leaders of the release of float glass are enterprises of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Saratov region and Rostov Region.
