Five fields discovered in the Chelyabinsk region

Ministry of Industry and Natural Resources of the Chelyabinsk Region has approved a list of subsoil plots of local importance, proposed to provide for the use.

Geologists have yet to learn and to make an exploration of five fields. In three of them plan to start production of igneous and metamorphic rocks (except those used for the production of fire-resistant, acid-resistant, stone molding, mineral wool and fibers, mineral feeding animals and birds, decorative and ornamental stones, cement industry).

Also in Kata-Ivanovo metro area is possible dolomite mining (except those used in metallurgical, glass and chemical industries), and in Krasnoarmeysky - sand (except molding, glass, abrasive, for whiteware, refractory and cement industries, containing ore minerals in industrial concentrations).
