KERALITE SELECT Fire-Rated Glass Wins the Product Innovation Award for the second year in a row Auburn, WA (November 2014)
Vetrotech Saint-Gobain has once again been honored with the prestigious Product Innovation Award (PIAs) selected by Architectural Products Magazine. The competition recognizes innovation in the development and refinement of buildings-related products that range the gamut from cladding systems to interior finishes. Judged by a group of industry professionals, the program represents, a mechanism to impartially review product and present to readers items their peers found innovative and worth investigating.
In March of 2014, Vetrotech launched KERALITE? Select, a fire-rated glazing product that boasts the highest color-rendering index (97.1 out of 100) available in a fire-rated glass ceramic product. The result is the most accurate color viewing in it’s class. The haze value is so low it cannot be perceived by the naked eye.
Kevin Frisone, National Sales and Marketing Manager for Vetrotech says, “The combination of a nearly distortion-free surface, sharper viewing, truer color, and high light transmission sets new Keralite Select apart from all other fire-rated glass ceramics available in the market today.”
