For the fourth year in a row, Saint-Gobain has been included in the Thomson Reuters Top 100 global innovators ranking.
The list is based on the number of unique patents, the number of patents accepted compared with the number filed, and their international scope and renown.
The Group was singled out along with four major industrial companies and three research organizations in France.
The Top 100 Global Innovators program identifies the companies and research structures that are the most active in terms of innovation.
The selection is based on four criteria: the success rate of patent applications, the international scope of the patent portfolio, the influence of the patent in terms of the number of citations in the professional literature and the number of patents.
