About CNUD-EFCO: Solutions for float glass manufacturer

CNUD-EFCO is the preferred engineering and solution provider for the float glass manufacturers with special focus on the tin bath and annealing sections of the process.

For more than 55 years, our aim has been to develop high level solutions for thermal treatment of glass including research, design, construction and maintenance. These solutions will continue to contribute to maximise the thermal part of the manufacturing process and to secure the successful introduction of new products by existing and new customers.

This results in a strong market leadership. We constantly train our team to become the prime advisors to our customers. By developing our glass technology knowledge we aim to continue to be a recognised player in the float glass industry wordwide.

Our achievements to date

More than 300 float lines, including float and pattern lines, and 300 tin bath roofs worldwide, which corresponds to:

More than 160 000 tons of glass per day;

More than 58 million tons of glass per year;

More than 3 300 km of glass per day, i.e. about the earth circumference every 12 days;

More than 1 204 500 km of glass per year, i.e. more than 3 times the earth/moon distance.
