New ZIPPE batch house for furnace 3 at VIDROPORTO, Brazil starts production

The long-established container glass factory VIDROPORTO in Porto Ferreira (conurbation São Paulo) started production with their new furnace no. 3.  

The completely new line 3 also comprises a new fully automatic batch house including batch transport as well as cullet return system. For this field, company ZIPPE Industrieanlagen has been granted the order. Besides the equipment and the control system, the steel construction as well as the silos have also been part of ZIPPE’s scope of supply.

The batch house is designed for the production of 400 tons of batch in 16 hours.

With this new state-of-the-art plant, primarily amber beer bottles are to be produced for the Brazilian market.

The plant has been commissioned mid-October and has already produced bottles of very good quality within a few days, with very high efficiency. The cooperation with the customer and the entire project team had worked out excellent.
