New event to showcase products, best practices for residential fenestration companies — The Window & Door Dealers Alliance, in conjunction with the National Glass Association, is launching Window & Door Dealer Days at GlassBuild America: The Glass, Window & Door Expo. The three-day event will take place, September 16-18, 2015, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
“As residential window and door companies evolve, so must their association, WDDA,” says Nicole Harris, president and CEO. “The new Dealer Days event will provide a venue for window and door dealers to see, touch and talk about new product lines, while gaining valuable information on current market conditions and best business practices.”
The focal point of the new event will be the Dream Showroom, a 4400-square-foot pavilion on the GlassBuild America tradeshow floor featuring residential windows and doors from the industry’s leading suppliers. “The goal of the Dream Showroom is to serve as inspiration for dealers looking to upgrade their retail spaces aesthetically and in terms of the products they offer,” Harris explains. “To that end, it will incorporate point-of-purchase displays that dealers can use in their own showrooms.”
In addition to the Dream Showroom, the Window & Door Dealer Days event will feature:
?NGAWDDA Keynote Breakfast: Attracting and Retaining a New Generation of Employees
Speaker, author and generational expert Cam Marston will address how today’s most competitive companies are competing for, winning, and retaining their top people.
?Express Learning
Held on the tradeshow floor, focused 20-minute educational sessions will address product and business trends related to window and door specialty dealers, with the goal of providing relevant, hands-on information they can take back to their companies.
?The Remodeling Forecast
During a special one-hour presentation, Window & Door Dealer Days attendees will gain insight into remodeling market conditions that directly affect their replacement business.
