PPG Fiber Glass names Euroresins as pan-European distributor

Euroresins, the distribution organization of DSM Composite Resins, and PPG Industries' fiber glass business have announced a composites industry first: an agreement that will see Euroresins become the leading distributor of PPG’s chopped-strand mat and spray-up roving across Europe; as unveiled on December 11, 2008.

PPG historically supported customers through a country-focused European distribution network. Under the pan-European agreement with Euroresins, end users will benefit from the partnership of two customer-oriented businesses geared toward delivering best-in-class products and services, according to the companies.

PPG Senior Vice President, Glass and Fiber Glass, Victoria M. Holt said, “PPG’s industry-leading Mat 79, Mat 92 emulsion-bound mat and HYBON fiber glass roving products will be supported through Euroresins’ extensive European network. This working relationship gives PPG the opportunity to focus our supply chain and selling resources in the critical European region. This is an exciting deal between two firms that have very complementary long-term interests relating to supplying the composites industry in Europe.”
