The new glass bottle manufactured by Gerresheimer for Puig's "Rock! by Shakira" fragrance is designed to resemble an electric guitar. This interesting bottle, plus many other Gerresheimer designs, will be on display at Cosmetic Business in Munich from June 10 to 11 at the Gerresheimer stand E07 in hall 4.
"We work with our customers to develop unique bottle designs that visually communicate the product's message. Designing this bottle was a technical challenge that our glass manufacturing experts mastered with aplomb," said Bernd Stauch, Sales Director at Gerresheimer Moulded Glass Cosmetics. The bottle's angular design and elegantly extended shoulder sections made the blow molding process somewhat challenging. This is the production activity where pressurized air is applied to the molten glass gob to blow it into its ultimate form. When you are making a bottle with a lot of angles, like the Rock! by Shakira bottle, it's essential to ensure that the air reaches into all the corners so that the final product has a "clean" form. The black printed logo additionally accentuates the bottle's design.
Cosmetic Business is a very important platform for cosmetic glass bottle and jar manufacturer such as Gerresheimer to network with the experts in the cosmetics world. Existing and potential customers searching for new design concepts appreciate the advice provided by the Gerresheimer experts at the stand.
Gerresheimer is also exhibiting an assortment of bottles, jars and other glass containers that it has developed for customers in the cosmetics industry over the last few months.
