BA Glass Poland has chosen Tiama as one of the main suppliers to renovate its furnace number 1 at its Sierakow plant.
The four production lines will be dedicated to premium articles and will be equipped with 15 Tiama technologies. These are its MCAL4 sidewall inspection, its MULTI4 top and bottom inspection, its MX4 carousel inspection and its Kompass orientator.
The furnace renovation is set for completion by September this year.
BA produces more than 5 billion containers a year in 11 colours and has seven factories and 2200 employees. Of those, 1550 are employed in its Iberian plants and 650 in Poland.
It has a daily production of more than 14 million units - bottles and jars - for customers operating in the food and beverage industries.
The combination of Tiama’s inspection machines means BA can achieve the highest control of special shapes, while orientating the containers with up-to-date software tools.
BA will also receive Tiama’s after-sales support provided by its Polish engineering team to ensure proximity, support and awareness of the Polish customers’ needs.
Beyond its cold end capabilities, Tiama can also provide hot end solutions and intelligent software tools dedicated to plant performance management.
