Holding "Schwabe", belongs to the state corporation Rostec, implemented in the production technology of applying an antireflection coating on the viewing window of radiation protection by chemical means.
New technology developed by specialists of the holding company - JSC "Lytkarino Optical Glass Factory." They are intended to provide protection against ionizing radiation in the remote staff work in protective boxes, cameras and other devices at nuclear power plants and research laboratories.
The application of anti-reflective coating on the viewing window of radiation protection takes place in two ways, which are used depending on the type of glass. For glasses with a high content of lead oxide coating is applied by etching in acetic acid. This technology can reduce the reflection from the surface of the part and protect it from clouding the formation of plaque. On the glass with a small amount of lead special coating is done by immersing the product in a film-forming solution. Next, heat treatment is performed to fix the result.
"Technology applying antireflection coatings by dipping in a coating solution and by etching in acetic acid has sufficiently high capacity and does not require sophisticated equipment. An important positive factor is the low cost of these methods ", - said Acting Deputy General Director of JSC "Schwabe" R & D and innovation development Sergey Popov.
