Unacceptable to cut gas supply to metallurgist, glass-production companies

Bulgaria’s Minister of Economy and Energy Petar Dimitrov informer there are 60 major gas consumers in Bulgaria. On Wednesday, these consumers will be introduced to the schedule and actions related to the gas shortage regime, FOCUS News Agency journalist reports.

Some schools and kindergartens will be able to shift to oil residue. Thus, the natural gas distributed by the heating utilities will be redirected to the industrial consumers that are in most urgent need. In case it is necessary, the state reserve will be activated, too. “The companies, which cannot do without natural gas supply, operate mainly in the metallurgist, glass-production sectors, and some in the agricultural sector. The exact companies are now being listed”, the minister commented.
