Glass Focus 2016

We’re excited to be holding our 2016 conference and awards dinner at Dynamic Earth – an iconic structure on the grounds of an old brewery bottling plant in the Holyrood area of the city.  

Dynamic Earth is a five-star visitor attraction that was a catalyst for the economic regeneration of the Holyrood area. It tells the story of our planet: how it works, how life has evolved in different environments and the future challenges faced by the Earth.



It’s a perfect backdrop for Glass Focus 2016 – which will shape and stimulate a vision for the future of glass – the material and industry. We’ll demonstrate that glass can adapt to and thrive on the demands of the future – continuing to play a crucial role in our technological development, economy and everyday lives.

Industry and technical experts will share their experience and lead exchanges on topics including:

• anticipating tomorrow’s demands from designers, manufacturers and customers
• applying cutting edge glass technology to solve global problems
• decoupling growth, energy use and emissions
• working across supply and value chains to adapt successfully.

We’re creating a programme that will bring together speakers and delegates in straightforward conversations that have the potential to create insight and real-world application.
