Ili’s first flat glass company to be operated

On January 8, 2009, the first flat glass line was formally put into production in Bayan Industrial Zone, Ili, Xinjiang. The production line, invested by Xinjiang Ili Daming Glass Co., Ltd with 12 million yuan of total investment capital, will offer flat glass at all sizes such as 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8mm, which fills the blank of Ili building material industry.

The line ensures an annual output at 3350,000 TEU of flat glass. Products have passed the test of Ili Bureau of Technical Supervision and reached the standard of Top Grade products. Products not only meet the demand of the local market but also export to the other markets.

Besides, the project also offers more than 120 jobs for the local rural migrant workers and will create an annual profit and tax at more than 7 million yuan.

“We will focus the processing of existing products next so as to increase the added value of products and meet the further demands,” said Jiang Zecheng, the Chairman of Daming Glass, “It is our duty to speed up the development of Ili economy.”
