Architects’ Forum™ 2016 is headed to the Pacific Northwest, bringing a day of glass industry education designed just for architects. Dow Corning will serve as a Gold Sponsor for the upcoming Architects’ Forum™ 2016, taking place June 2 in Bellevue, Wash. (suburban Seattle), at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. The event is sponsored and organized by the Architect’s Guide to Glass & Metal magazine.
As part of its sponsorship, Dow Corning will present its AIA-accredited program titled “Air Barrier Systems: Silicone Solutions to Reduce Building Air Infiltration.” The program is designed to help course participants learn to define the basic requirements that air barriers must meet. It covers the different types of air barriers on the market, as well as their key differences. Attendees will learn to identify areas within a wall system where detailing is important to system success and also to describe the different solutions currently available for sealing penetrations and transitions to create a complete air barrier system.
In addition to the presentations, Architects’ Forum™ 2016 will provide attendees with a number of other educational and networking opportunities. These include free admission into the Glass Expo Pacific Northwest™ trade show, as well as lunch, coffee breaks and informative tabletop displays provided by event sponsors.
