To Strengthen the Application of Green Building Materials

(China Glass Network) Xin Guobin, the vice minister of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology claimed that it is imperative to increase the proportion of green building materials in all building materials so as to transform the large amount of architectural materials. We needed to step up our efforts in bringing green building materials into construction industry.

Green buildings and green building materials are bound together inextricably. For one thing, green building materials is the basis of green buildings. For another, green buildings must revolved around the use of green building materials. Therefore, the development of green buildings depends on the support of green building materials.

In December 2009, the first project of identifying green buildings was launched. In April 2015, the State Council put forward the proposal of developing green buildings. It reveals that Chinese government pays high attention to the development of green buildings. There are many policies that conducive to achievements of exploration on green buildings. Ina nutshell, the application of green building materials into constructions is an inevitable trend for all of us today.
