A Drop in the Sale of Panasonic’s EcoSolutions

(China Glass Network) Recently, according to the financial performance of Panasonic in 2016, the sale of EcoSolutions declined 3% to 14.8 billion dollars. In addition, their profits dropped 18% to 78.4 billion Japanese yen. The profit margin was only 5%.

Panasonic said that the reason for sales decline was related to the sluggish demand of PV solar system of Japanese housing market. Some media reported that Panasonic would close one photovoltaic solar plant with the capacity of 270MW. Besides Panasonic, Kyocera also said that their sales concerning PV dropped.
