Following on from the success of Glassman Latin America 2015,
Reckmann is the leading German manufacturer of thermocouples and one of the four largest in Europe, supplying leading glass factories as well as furnace manufacturers. The company’s presence in the global market is becoming stronger, and large glass producers in Latin America already depend on the quality and reliability of Reckmann Thermocouples. Direct and close contact with the customer is very important, and for this reason Reckmann has been present at every
The last fair in Mexico in September 2015 was a great success, and a confirmation of the growth and importance of the region in the global glass market. Since the creation of the Export Department in 2005, Reckmann has focused on the worldwide glass industry sector. More than 100 glass plants have been visited during this time. The company has also constructed a new building with a department that is exclusively responsible for thermocouples for the glass industry. It disposes of special construction equipment, drying furnaces and special safety devices for the precious metals. Reckmann prides itself on customer service, and customers are approached directly in their language: French, Italian, Spanish, English, Portuguese and Arabic. Each geographical region has its own contact person, and Gustavo Falero Recalde is the contact for Latin America (pictured, at the Glassman Latin America show in 2015). He was born and raised in Montevideo Uruguay, and has lived in Germany for 10 years. In order to work out individual solutions with the companies and to intensify customer relationships, each region of Latin America is visited personally once a year. This enables the company to create long lasting partnerships with our customers. Reckmann follows the ‘one-face to the customer policy’, which means the same person who visits a plant will also follow the order directly in the company’s HQ in Hagen, Germany. This is the way Reckmann continues and strengthens its commercial policy, thinking globally and always prepared to meet the needs of glass producers worldwide. Glassman will return to the region next year with Glassman South America, which will be held in 2017.
