The Market Conditions for Glass Enterprises in Southern China

(China Glass Network) The May of the year 2016 will experience a peak season for deep-processing glass market. Now many enterprises receive adequate orders and are in a busy state of manufacturing and selling. There is low stock of glass products. Driven by downstream customers’ strong demand, the glass market in southern China will be active.

In recent years, float glass enterprises invest heavily in the construction of environmental protection facilities for desulphurization and denitration. As a result, the glass production cost has increased sharply. There are no possibilities for reducing the current price of flat glass. To maintain the survival and development of the industry, the price of flat glass will increase to RMB2/weight case. Guangdong Glass Association (GDGA) expects that float glass enterprises in southern China can strengthen their confidence and reinforce communication to maintain market order.
