Furnace wall bricks of the porous carbonization chamber of the coking plant caused thermal stress due to temperature change during opening and closing of the furnace door, coal loading and coke discharge, leading to fragmentation of the furnace wall bricks and loosening and deformation of the wall surface. At the same time, graphite adhered on the surface of the furnace wall caused difficulty in coke pushing and resulted in breakage of silica bricks, leakage of carbonized gas of coke and coal; because the thermal expansion coefficient of silica bricks and silica bricks carbon is different, when the temperature changes, bricks in different area have different expansion and contraction, causing cracking and falling off of the outer layer silica bricks of the silica chamber wall and causing a number of irregular holes with diameter of about 500mm and depth of about 90mm. Pitted surfaces and denudation occurred on the porous wall of the coking chamber -meanwhile, smoke flew from the chamber furnace cover, and the tightness of the furnace door and normal coke discharge was affected. By using the company’s ceramic soldering technology, the above problem was solved properly; and the welded position maintain safe operation for ten months with no falling off occurred again.
