Due to erosion of complex gases, high local temperature in flame paths and defects on the refractory material, the tank wall and flame paths of the tank calcination furnace in Aluminum & Carbon Co., Ltd., which had been operating for four years was burnt out and deformed, forming a 400 mm long, about 200 mm wide, about 80 mm deep trumpet-shaped melted hole on flame paths on both sides. Fire soared from the flame path wall seriously, and petroleum coke leaked to the flame paths, so gas tightness was reduced and the normal production of the furnace was seriously affected. By using the ceramic soldering technology of our company, the above problem was solved thoroughly.
