Diageo relied once more upon the knowledge of the
The bottle is inspired by the iridescence ‘Blue Steel’ pose of the fictional male supermodel Derek Zoolander. As a long-term partner of Diageo, Stölzle was able to evolve the design ideas of creative director Mario Testino by transforming the ‘Blue Steel’ pose of Derek Zoolander into a good-looking and fashion-forward bottle. The limited edition of the Cîroc’s Zoolander Blue Steel bottle, which comes in a standard 70cl format, is available in selected bars and as a 3L collector’s edition. It is also available from all major wholesalers from the end of February 2016. Stölzle perpetuated its long lasting collaboration with Diageo with the bespoke bottle, which aims at the super-premium spirits market. It is a rapidly growing market and consumers are willing to spend more on luxury drinks. The limited Blue Steel edition is a fun addition to the whole Cîroc range that will appeal to both fans of the brand and of the film alike. Stölzle is a manufacturer of high-end glass containers for its Prestige Spirits and Perfumery & Cosmetics divisions. Its headquarters are located in Austria and the group consists of six European production plants and three in-house decoration sites.
