Louisville Plate Glass Breaks Ground on New Headquarters

Louisville Plate Glass Co., recently purchased by Aldora Aluminum and Glass Products, will move into a new, 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Louisville, Kentucky. The new headquarters facility will provide the company with tempering capabilities, according to a company release.

In recent years Louisville Plate Glass has increased its workforce from 25 to 40, while expanding its product line and service area, according to a Courier-Journal report. The company expects to increase employment to around 100 by 2020.

The growth made the company attractive to Aldora, which purchased Louisville Plate Glass last month.
