Turkey's Sisecam to invest $190 mln in Russian plant

A unit of Sisecam, a Turkish glass manufacturer owned by Is Bankasi, said on Monday it plans to build a sheet-glass factory in Russia.

The investment will be worth between $180 million and $190 million, Cem Kozlu, the head of a Turkish-Russian business group, said separately at a news conference.

Trakya Cam (TRKCM.IS), a Sisecam unit, has signed an agreement with the government in Russia's Tataristan region to carry out feasibility tests on building the plant, according to a Trakya Cam filing with the stock exchange.
