Glass tumblers sold at Dunkin’ Donuts last fall are being recalled because they pose a danger for cuts and burns.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the recall Tuesday after receiving 19 reports that the tumblers can crack or break during ordinary use. No injuries have been reported.
The 16-ounce tumblers were sold for use with hot and cold drinks, according to a report on the commission’s website.
They were sold in three styles — two with a clear lid, “BUT FIRST, DUNKIN” written in a white font on the inner layer of glass and either pink or orange plastic, the third with a black and gray plaid pattern on the inner layer of glass, a black silicone grip with the letters “DD” embossed on it, and a black lid.
About 8,300 tumblers were sold from September through November. Cost was $13 to $15.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said anyone who bought the tumblers should stop using them. They should be returned to the store where they were purchased for a refund.
Made in China, the tumblers were imported for Dunkin’ Donuts by Moderne Glass of Aliquippa, Pa.
