Flat Glass is Steadily Increasing

According to statistics, production capacity of Chinese flat glass reached 69.89 million boxes, rising 5% against the same period 2016.

In November of 2016, flat glass produced were 63.63 million boxes, with a growth rate of 15.4% over that of 2015.

Glass price is continuously increasing as recently real estate demands started to recover causing a high level of profits. In 2017, flat glass production capacity is estimated to reach 0.8 billion boxes, with a growth rate of nearly 3%-5% compared with 2016.   

Domestic flat glass turned positive in 2016, for the export increased dramatically in March and created the highest point in August and September while it began reduction in the 4^th quarter resulting from high exporting prices. Thus it is expected to grow slightly in 2017.
