Permasteelisa Group will participate at the 12th International Conference on Shock and Impact Loads on Structures that will be held from 14 to 16 June 2017 in Singapore and it is hosted by Kanazawa University and the National Defence Academy of Japan.
The conference addresses important advances in threat and risk assessment, characteristics of shock and blast loads on structures, infrastructure protection against natural and man-made hazards, and new and innovative mitigation measures against extreme events such as Tsunamis, ground shock and other phenomena.
Our Group will be present at the conference with a dedicated booth where our experts will be more than happy to present our technologies, and we will give a speech about "Innovative energy dissipative bracket for façade blast enhancement design”.
The presentation, which starts from the submitted paper, describes the possibility to achieve a resilient urban environment without significant impact on the aesthetic aspects of building design, where glass is still the dominant element of the architectural scope.
