Glass Inspector, a state-of-the-art artificial vision system, is designed to detect potential defects earlier, and more effectively and efficiently than ever before.
No one likes unpleasant surprises. That is why Guardian Automotive spends a great deal of effort ensuring that our products reach you in optimum condition. And, we want to do this in the most efficient way possible. When you order the best – you want to receive the best.
This is why we are investing in Glass Inspector, a state-of-the-art artificial vision system, designed to detect potential defects earlier, and more effectively and efficiently than ever before.
Using several cameras and a light system, our new artificial vision system is able to detect defects at the beginning of the production process. This includes all types of defects, such as scratches, dirties, bubbles or chips.
So the windscreen can be scrapped before PVB and components are added, saving money, time and disappointment all round.
This new artificial vision system will enable us to significantly reduce the number of damaged windscreens, and subsequently reduce the number of claims, saving you time and offering consistently higher quality products.
The new system will be fully implemented in the next two months and represents another step towards delivering a high quality product every order, every time.
