The SQP1 project is a Tower of 68 stories comprising 627 apartments, with a plantroom on level 33, and residence terrace on level 56 designed by Foster and Partners.
The majority of the wall types are PPC aluminium unitised curtain wall, typically 1.3m wide. There are sliding doors and opening windows. Vision units are triple glazed with solar control coatings, and stainless steel metal cladding.
The façade systems were developed in our Basel office during a PCSA for the project. A full size Visual Mock Up (VMU) was built at our production facility in Shenyang a part of the PCSA and has been inspected by the Client and Architect.
The first curtain wall elements being manufactured in Shenyang in September 2017. Completed assemblies will be delivered to site for Installation due to commence December 2017.
Practical completion of our works is August 2021
