Gulf Glass, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Center from 25 to 27 September, will suppliers of finished products, glass production technology and machinery, glass processing and finishing solutions, measurement, testing and control technology, tools, replacements and spare parts, as well as auxiliary equipment and fitting.
The largest flat and container glass event in the region, Gulf Glass, is returning to the Dubai World Trade Center this year from 25 to 27 September. The trade fair is an unmissable one stop shop for all things glass, as it hosts suppliers of finished products, glass production technology and machinery, glass processing & finishing solutions, measurement, testing & control technology, tools, replacements and spare parts, as well as auxiliary equipment and fitting.
According to recent reports, the glass market is on the rise. “The flat glass market is expected to exceed USD 134 billion by 2023, while the global construction glass market will reach USD 121,877 million in the next five years, growing at a CAGR of 7.1%,” says Muhammed Kazi, Event Director of Gulf Glass. “Indeed, the demand for innovative and green solutions for the built environment is surging in the region; glass, a sustainable and fully recyclable material, is the perfect solution to today’s challenges, providing energy efficient cooling and lighting systems,” he explains.
Gulf Glass 2017 will feature over 140 regional and international exhibiting brands, displaying the latest products and solutions for industry professionals in the Middle East. Some big industry names participating at the event this year include HIET, Mountain Glass, Tec Pro, Glass Source, Mega Enterprise, Glaver Gulf, and Electro Glass. “This premiere glass exhibition has emerged as a principal meeting place for the global industry”, says Marcel Dagher, General Manager of HIET.
The event takes place every two years, and in 2015 it welcomed an impressive 4,381 visitors, bringing together 127 exhibiting brands from 20 countries. “I am overwhelmed with the amount of exhibitors and potential. [Gulf Glass is] a great exhibition to look out for new industry trends and meet with industry professionals,” stated Karim Nasser, Regional Director at RWL, visiting the last edition of the trade fair.
Organised by dmg events Middle East, Asia & Africa, Gulf Glass 2017 is co-located with The Big 5 Outdoor, Design & Build Show, FM Expo, and Windows, Doors & Façades, and runs at the DWTC’s Halls 4 and 5.
