Glaston puts you in control of anisotropy.
At VITRUM 2017, Glaston will showcase its brand-new products that promise to take glass processing performance and quality another notch higher.
These include flat tempering and laminating technologies that take advantage of digitalization, products for scanning anisotropy and a way to improve throughput by monitoring an entire factory.
Online scanning of anisotropy has now been made easy for all glass produced and available for all tempering lines.
The system includes a monitor at the unloading end where an anisotropy scan is shown and saved automatically in a database for load traceability. With iLooK Anisotropy, you can be certain of consistent glass quality deliveries to even your most discerning customers.
Glaston is setting new flat tempering standards with its renewed RC and FC Series™ featuring built-in intelligence with smart systems.
The iControL automation platform provides the intelligence needed to meet the latest processing demands. This platform extends the lifetime of any tempering line and features the easiest user interface in the market.
It also includes Glaston’s extensive reporting systems. Any existing Glaston (Tamglass, Uniglass, Glassrobots) flat tempering furnace heating chamber can now be upgraded to a modern FC or RC Series based heating chamber and include Glaston iControL.
ProL flat glass laminating furnace helps reach a production capacity balance with Low-E and clear glass because its full convection technology does not differentiate between glass types or product modes.
The furnace’s convection system provides accurate and optimized heat transfer. This gives consistently superb glass quality and an up to 100% capacity increase over traditional infrared heating. ProL is available as an upgrade for any laminating line in the market.
The sharpest grinding tool in the market today, the new metal bond XtraSharp is designed for high productivity and flawless quality.
XtraSharp grinding tools allow 20% higher feed rates than with conventional wheels. These self-sharpening grinders are available for both straight-line and double-edging machines.
We’ve got the innovations and knowledge to move you ahead. At VITRUM, our experts will be available to provide you with recommendations and solutions for any of your glass processing challenges. Come ask us more! Hall 7, Stand P21 Q26
