Sometimes the vision of architects and designers can seem impossible to realise. Multi-storey buildings which are built to withstand intense external pressure while creating a unique visual impact need the best quality materials.
At Hazlemere Commercial, we’ve worked on many high profile commercial projects. In many cases, successful project completion would not have been possible without the highest quality materials. Have a look at some of our completed projects for an idea of the breadth and quality of our installations.
For many of our installation projects, we have used Sapa aluminium. Sapa are world leaders in the production of high performing aluminium systems. Here are three ambitious projects made possible with Sapa aluminium.
A collection of high-rise buildings situated in the city’s new financial and business district. This multi-use complex consists of high specification residential accommodation, offices, a five-star hotel, conference facilities, and several public areas. 100,000 square metres of aluminium was used in the installation including windows, doors, and curtain walling systems.
The Sapa Elegance 72 curtain walling system was chosen for its structural strength and flexibility. The buildings needed to be able to withstand earthquakes and extreme weather.
The materials used were rigorously tested to extremely high water, wind, and seismic resistance levels to ensure the completed installation was a safe environment. The truly modern enterprise incorporates many sustainable features. On-site wind turbine technology combines with a co-generation plant which powers the entire facility.
This French Riviera shopping centre demanded a stunning design to match its high-class setting. More than 20,000 square metres of aluminium façades were used in the project. These ranged from standard profile sections to bespoke designed areas, manufactured to meet the exact project specifications.
The complex is now home to a wide variety of shopping, eating, and leisure centres and has welcomed millions of visitors since opening in 2015.
Quite aptly, the Institute for Environmental Management was constructed using 100% recyclable and sustainable aluminium curtain walling from Sapa. The curved façade was made possible by Sapa aluminium’s versatility and high-grade quality. The completed building is a modern and energy efficient showcase for 21st century sustainability.
