Day 1: tomorrow’s urban design
On opening day, the congress will deal with future-oriented urban development. Concrete projects that have already been completed such as Urban Design Visions for China, New Grid for Shanghai and developments related to the 2022 Winter Olympics in Peking will be presented and analyzed. The objective on Day 1 of the congress is to show participants what future urban planning that benefits all residents might look like based on the projects that are presented.
Day 2: future building technology
The second day of the congress focuses on the latest technological and future-oriented solutions in architecture with regard to both planning and execution. Design and manufacturing technologies such as building automation, building technology, modular construction, prefabricated construction and ultra-lightweight concrete will be presented. Day 2 will also focus on certification systems for "green building" in China as well as efficient energy supply and facade designs and systems. Concrete examples will be presented for all topics.
Day 3: projects for China
The last day of the conference revolves entirely around sustainable projects that have been implemented in China such as Shanghai Tower. Projects from architects who are based in China but are also familiar with the international market will be introduced.
