The 125 Greenwich Street skyscraper located in Lower Manhattan, the financial district of New York, will use 13 million sq.m. of façade glass units from Press Glass.

Press Glass, which specialises in glass processing for the construction industry, started the production and supply of 13 million sq.m. of façade glass units for the 125 Greenwich Street skyscraper located in Lower Manhattan, the financial district of New York.

In compliance with the contract signed in June 2017 by Press Glass and Aluprof, company responsible for construction of the facades, the deliveries will cover about 10 million sq.m. of flat and almost 3 million sq.m. of bent large dimension insulated glass with the height of about 3m, sealed with silicon, and including hardened glass.

125 Greenwich Street is the new 88-storey, 278 meter high condominium skyscraper with architecture by the world-renowned Rafael Viñoly designer. The building is one of the tallest residential building in Lower Manhattan. Its location close to One World Trade Center and Oculus enhances its prestige. The shape of the building also includes rounded corners of facades with bent glass.

125 Greenwich Street features an exposed concrete column that runs throughout the height of the building and a bent glass façade to enhance the panoramic views of the Hudson River, the Statue of Liberty, the World Trade Center Complex, and the New York City skyline. The building features 273 units ranging from studios to three-bedroom condominium residences, and careful attention was brought to the details of the building.
