China Glass Index on November 23rd, 2017

On November 22nd, 2017:

China Glass's Comprehensive Index was 1169.33, a rise of 1.29 points against last week and last month.

China Glass Price Index was 1190.68, increasing by 1.69 points over the same period.

China Glass Confidence Index was 1083.92, with a growth rate of -0.33 points compared with the same time last week and last month.

Glass spot goods do not show some fluctuations, since Shahe market is influenced by local production-stopping due to government’s “environment protection” campaign. Manufacturers are more confident about the future glass price rise.  

As far as production capacity concerned, production lines in south of China factories are mainly engaged in suspension and maintenance while that in north of China factories build more new production lines as well as re-production and suspension, especially dramatically increase in Shahe which has been a threat to traders and other manufacturers. 

Some northern China factories rise glass price by 20 yuan.
