Kier Construction have awarded Hazlemere Commercial a £337,000 + VAT contract to supply all the new aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling for their new build project at Green Ridge Primary Academy in Aylesbury, Bucks.
Hazlemere Commercial have been tasked with manufacturing and installing all the fenestration required for this new high quality teaching space.
Locally based on Cressex Business Park in High Wycombe, Hazlemere will be fabricating all the aluminium double glazed products within their 38,000 square foot factory in South Bucks, before transporting them the short distance to the County Town of Aylesbury.
It was not that long ago that Hazlemere replaced all the windows at County Hall in Aylesbury for Buckinghamshire County Council with bespoke aluminium windows, designed specially for this high rise commercial building, so are used to working on large projects in the town.
The thermally broken double glazing products specified by Kier Construction on the Green Ridge Primary Academy project are Sapa Elegance 52 aluminium curtain walling, Sapa Dualframe 75 SI aluminium casement windows and Sapa STII aluminium commercial entrance doors.
All of these products will be powder coated in RAL 7016 Matt Anthracite Grey, so the new teaching area will have a very modern look and feel.
Hazlemere Commercial are delighted to be partnering again with Kier Construction, having already undertaken a £355,000 + VAT refurbishment project for Kier at Mercantile House in Portsmouth, where again Sapa aluminium DF75 SI casement window products were manufactured and fitted by Hazlemere.
