Clean Production Evaluating Index System for Daily Glass Industry is issued on trail

In order to evaluate the clean production level, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Clean Production Evaluating Index System for Daily Glass Industry on February 19, 2009, which becomes effective as of the day.

The System is aimed at instructing, promoting and further specifying the clean production in daily glass companies in accordance with the law.

The System is used for evaluating the clean production level of daily glass companies. According to the overall appraisal, companies are divided into two levels: advanced enterprise of clean production on behalf of the advanced Chinese standard and enterprise of clean production on behalf of the general Chinese standard.

The System is drafted by China National Association for Glass Industry. As the technology develops, the system will be modified every 3-5 years.
