Dow Corning® high performance silicones to be branded DOWSIL™

Dow Corning® silicones will have a new name as of February this year – DOWSIL™. Product descriptors that are part of the product names today will remain the same.

As of February 2018, Dow Corning® brand silicone materials for high performance building will transition to the new DOWSIL™ brand.

The DOWSIL™ product brand name represents the collective experience and combined power of Dow and Dow Corning. Customers and users will get the same warranty coverage, features and benefits as before from the silicone products.

To simplify the transition, product descriptors that are part of the product names today will remain the same. For example: Dow Corning® 983 Structural Glazing Sealant will become DOWSIL™ 983 Structural Glazing Sealant.

A new website, consumer.dow.com/construction (which replaces dowcorning.com/construction) will go live in February with the DOWSIL™ brand launch in all regions. The site features enhanced search functionality, responsive design for mobile devices, and upgraded customer and technical support capabilities.
