A few days ago, the Ministry of Commerce published a public list of national foreign trade transformation and upgrading bases, among which we can see Hejian City national foreign trade transformation and upgrading base (glass products). It is beneficial for the city to optimize and promote the structure of foreign trade, accelerate the transformation of the mode of development of foreign trade, and promote the agglomeration of superior export industries.

Hejian City, as the world's largest heat-resistant glass production base, process glass industry has more than 40 years of development history. In recent years, heat-resistant process glass has made considerable development, there are 252 registered enterprises, more than 60,000 employees with an annual output value of nearly 5 billion yuan, forming seven categories, thousands of specifications of product systems, products exported to North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and other places, products have industrial instruments, heat-resistant wine, tea sets, tobacco, beverage utensils, daily necessities, Indoor adornment seven categories, thousands of specifications, exported 54 countries and regions.

In recent years, Hejian has continuously strengthened the top-level design of the craft glass industry, supported and guided enterprises to innovate in science and technology, strengthened cooperation between government, industry, education and research, and worked out the "Hexian process Glass Industry Development Plan 2016-2025", and made use of the China Arts and Crafts Association and the Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, The Central Academy of Fine Arts and other superior resources will provide intellectual support for the sustained and healthy development of the industry. At the same time, it will actively foster and develop new export growth points. To create the city name card of Hejian "China's craftsmanship glass capital" and "China's heat-resistant glass production base". At present, Suntech Art Creative Center and Museum of technological Glass products have been completed. An area of 800 mu of process glass industry park is planned and design.
