SORG lectured at the “International Glass Technology Communication Symposium”

SORG presented an overview of modern furnace designs made by SORG at the 18th International Glass Technology Communication Symposium, organized by China Light Industry Information Center (CLIIC).

From March 16th to March 18th, 2018, the 18th International Glass Technology Communication Symposium, organized by China Light Industry Information Center (CLIIC) took place in Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province.

More than 250 participants joined this glass symposium, among them about 50 presidents and technical directors from different glass manufactures and several technical speeches were held. They covered the range from furnace design, refractory materials, glass mold and raw materials.

SORG presented an overview of modern furnace designs made by SORG. This includes mathematic modelling as well as furnace and forehearth technology. A special topic was the emission control, reductions of emissions by primary measures and the performance of SORG® furnaces concerning low emissions.
