Eastman Names Winners of Vanceva World of Color Awards

Eastman, manufacturer of the Vanceva Color System for laminated glass, named two winners—interior and exterior—and four honorable mentions for this year’s World of Color Awards.

This semi-annual international design competition honors architects, interior designers, glass fabricators, artists and other professionals for their innovative and significant use of colored laminated safety glass in exterior building design and interior spaces.

“We had more than 50 entries from every corner of the globe this year,” says Doug Marren, global marketing communications manager, advanced interlayers for the Vanceva Color System. “We’re always impressed by the creative ways architects use Vanceva color interlayers to create landmark buildings, special effects and moods in interiors, and even in wayfinding.”

Photographs of the winning projects and the awards will be showcased at Eastman’s exhibit booth, located in Hall 11 - A42, at Glasstec 2018 Trade Fair, Oct. 23-26 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The winners will also be presented their awards during the event.

An international jury of five celebrated industry professionals reviewed submissions.
