J.C. Moag Signs Furnace Contract with HHH Tempering Resources

J.C. Moag has purchased a new glass washer and North Glass tempering furnace from HHH Tempering Resources. The equipment purchases are part of an upcoming facility expansion.

According to J.C. Moag, the ever-increasing size of interior glass demands a large, top-speed tempering furnace. The team’s current 60- by 120-inch HHH tempering furnace has been reliable for more than 30 years, but larger glass and the increase in glass pieces used in retail interiors requires a furnace upgrade.

“With our new North Glass furnace from HHH Tempering Resources, we’re going to have the most advanced tempering technology in our region,” says Cameron Moag, president of J.C. Moag.

The new equipment will be installed at J.C. Moag’s new 50,000-square-foot Lanesville, Ind., facility scheduled for opening in summer 2019.

J.C. Moag, specializes in retail interiors, office spaces, architecture and hospitality applications. The team has partnered with the HHH Tempering Resources team for technical support and expertise for more than 20 years.
