Guardian Glass provides a sense of things to come at glasstec 2018

The Guardian Glass presence at glasstec 2018 is in the form of an interactive, multi-sensory exhibit (Hall 10, Stand A24) where customers can experience the huge variety of possibilities of glass – not just for today, but tomorrow and beyond. Glasstec, the world’s leading event for the glass industry, opens its doors in Düsseldorf, Germany, 23-26 October.

The possibilities provided by Guardian Glass are captured in the booth’s design - concentric rings revealing the current and future possibilities of glass, whilst presenting them in a manner that plays on the senses of touch, sight, sound, taste and smell.

Starting from the outside, Guardian’s products of today – including Guardian Clarity anti-reflective glass, Guardian LamiGlass® Acoustic on Guardian UltraClear low-iron glass and Guardian Dielectric Mirror – are used to tease the senses of sight and sound.

Venturing deeper into the stand, visitors can discover some of the exciting products of tomorrow: Guardian’s new SPS (Single Product Solution), a technology platform that enables a single solar control glass product for its double and triple silver coatings that matches in both the annealed and tempered state; or IGUs made with recently launched Guardian SunGuard® SuperNeutral (SN) 75 and SN 63, that combine enhanced performance with a more neutral and consistent colour.

Finally, having reached the centre of the exhibit, a new dynamic glazing technology will create a visual stage on which Guardian will present its vision for the future of glass in a multi-dimensional experience. The short performance will provide the visual conclusion of our visitor’s journey to explore and See what’s possible®.
