The project is a perfect example of the highly bendable and tough qualities of Guardian Glass coatings. The SAWIG office is a commercial development in Podgorze, Krakow, Poland. The design of the building, with its rounded corners, was influenced by the aesthetic of pre-war modernism. Architecture bureau INDO Architects borrowed from the timeless designs of the past century and updated the concept for the modern age – with a fully glazed curved facade.
The structure boasts an elegant character thanks to its elevation executed via a unified glass sheet with rounded corners and a series of aluminum crossing lines on the exterior.
The project is a perfect example of the highly bendable and tough qualities of Guardian Glass coatings, with Guardian SunGuard® SuperNeutral™ 62/34 HT double silver coating used to glaze the façade in triple IGUs.
In addition to the superior mechanical properties of this product, the SunGuard® coating offers high solar protection on neutral-looking glass, helping to keep the building and its occupants cool thanks to a selectivity of 1.84.
