How to distinguish between vacuum and insulating glass

There are big differences between vacuum& insulating glass. 

There is no air between two pieces of glass, so the gap for vacuum glass only 0.1-0.2mm, the min thickness is 6mm. 

The gap between two pieces of insulating glass will be more than 6mm, dry air or inert gas was in it. Min thickness is 12mm for insulating glass.

About seal, vacuum glass is surrounded by lowmelting glass to seal, but insulating glass with silicone sealant. 

Depend on that, there are some tips to help us distinguish them. 

1, there are uniformly distributed small point supports between two glasses, 

2, Vacuum hole& protective cap in the corner of the glass, 

3, Low-melting glass is around to seal, 

4, Thickness of glass about 6-8mm, 

Meet above items, that would be vacuum glass.
