Stoelzle Masnieres Parfumerie received a heritage award for 200 years of industrial excellence.
The plant in northern France is celebrating its 200thanniversary this year and marked the event with a reception in Paris last week.
There, it was awarded the the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV, or Living Heritage Enterprise) label granted in recognition of companies that have achieved excellence in industrial expertise.
Owner Dr Cornelius Grupp, and Etienne Gruyez, CEO of Stoelzle Masnieres Parfumerie received the award.
The plant was formed in 1818 and joined Stölze Glass Group in 2014. Its clients include Estée Lauder, Givenchy and L’Oreal.
The industrial complex is located in Masnières, 190 km (120 miles) north of Paris in the Hauts de France region.
It comprises of Stoelzle Masnieres Parfumerie which specialises in the production of glass bottles and jars for the perfumery-cosmetics sector, and Stoelzle Masnieres Parfumerie decoration which specialises in new glass decoration techniques.
The company has marked its anniversary year with various events including two festive days devoted to plant employees and their families in June.
The company opened its doors to the public for the Journée de la Patrimoine (France’s annual heritage festival) on September 15.
Its final celebration took place last week where clients, co-workers and friends were invited to a celebratory evening at the Chalet des Iles in Paris, ending with a fireworks display.
