AGR International to introduce measurement equipment at glasstec

AGR International will introduce its latest dimensional gauging and coating measurement equipment at glasstec 2018.

The glass technology supplier will introduce its latest offering in its dimensional gauging product group, the Dimensional Sampling Gauge Series 400. 

Although it retains much of the framework of the previous versions, it incorporates new hardware, features and capabilities that further improve the handling, throughput, precision, communication and measurement functions of the DSG product line.

It also provides optimised bottle positioning and software to facilitate highly accurate thickness measurement of the complete body sidewall, on even small pharmaceutical ware by seamlessly integrating AGR’s Thickness 360 measurement system.

AGR will also introduce the Combined Coating Measurement System (CCMS). The system will provide customers with the capability of utilising one machine to measure both finish and body coating. To facilitate ease of use and accuracy, the unit features one-touch operation and totally automated measurement. 

The stand will include an in-depth discussion and demonstration of the DSG400 and CCMS, to learn how incorporating its equipment in its quality management programme can protect its brands.

It will also feature a display by American Glass Research. Representatives from American Glass Research will be present to discuss the latest portfolio of services for the glass container industry, all-new training programmes, design and testing services, as well as expanded analytical test offerings.
